The Ethics Of Complexity

Why simplifying people can become a moral failure.

Ally DelshadMarch 8, 20267 min read

To simplify another person may feel efficient. It may even feel clarifying. But clarity can become violence when it removes the conditions that make a life intelligible.

Complexity is not confusion. It is the refusal to treat a human being as a slogan.

Staying with difficulty
